Back in Black - Men in Black 3 Movie Review

First of all I am a huge fan of the franchise. I just adore will smith and tommy lee jones. I love love love the chemistry between them. So I had to see it right when it opened because I mean truly Rick Baker created Aliens? How much cooler can you get. I won’t talk much on that though because I can go off on a long speal about Rick Baker makeup. I am a lover of makeup and special effects so that is probably why the franchise has always hooked me so deeply. 

I wasn’t sure how I would feel about Josh Brolin playing young Tommy. Let me tell you he did a fabulous job. You really felt like it was a younger version of Agent K and not just another person playing him.  So to say the dynamic between him and Agent J was the same as we have seen in the other two movies. 

I adored the story, which is something I have to say for this franchise, each film has been unique in its story telling and more so been written in such a way that it pulls you in. The stories are full of life. Really captivating and engaging, this one was no less.  It had all the makings of a great film, humor, drama, character development, great settings and characters.

I won’t give you any secrets of the universe, or give away anything about the movie because I don’t want to ruin it for you. I mean I went with 2 people, my boyfriend and his best friend and his best friend was on the edge of his seat for parts of the movie.  I was doing the same. I truly loved it.

The special effects were fun and extremely well done. The aliens looked each unique and had so many amazing lifelike qualities to them making each one its own creature. Making our universe seem so much bigger. 

If you are going out to the movies this week go check out Men In Black 3. It’s a great flick and worth the time and money spent. Check it out in 3D if that’s your thing.
