SDCC Goodies - Legend of Zelda Mounted Shield and Swords
Jul 18, 2012 at 9:17 PM So I wanted to start sharing some of the fun things I acquired during San Diego Comic Con this year since for the first time in the 14 years I have been going to the event I did not grab a single piece of swag or freebies without it involving press related time with the company.
The first one I am really excited to share with you is this awesome shield from The Legend of Zelda, although not an officially licensed product the quality and the look of the item does not disapoint at all, with a $30 price tag at the event it was hard to pass on once it caught my eyes.
The swords can be removed in case you just want to show off the shield itself and the swords are individually held inside the proper mounts, the shield itself is made of a mixed plaster of some kind and is pretty solid and has some real weight to it.
Overall for Legend of Zelda fans this is a keeper, and for a fan like myself this is now living in the bathroom conected to my private office… The Throne Room where it should be.
If you would like to aquire one of your own I would suggest check out the site for the company who’s booth I drooled all over, www.truedge.com they had some awesome gas mask that had mounted logos from G.I. Joe, Transformers, and more that I hope to get my hands on soon and have a chance to talk about them. But for now check them out and enjoy the arsenal they offer.
