Bone Conducted Harmony - AfterShokz Review

Every once in a while you come across technology that just makes everyone you show it too go “Wow!” This is one of those times.

I took a little longer to review this particular pair of headphones because I wanted to get some more insight and mostly reaction from people I know, in all honesty I was blown away by how these headphones work and hence I wanted to make sure I was not the only one that thought they were simply amazing.

What makes these headphones stand out the most is the fact that they do not sit on your ears at all, in fact they sit by your ears but they conduct the music or noise via your cheekbones. There is seriously nothing sitting on, in, or over your ears when they are playing, with a rechargeable battery via a USB connector it makes it impossible to resist maxing out the volume on these.

One of the best parts of using these headphones is when you max out the volume on the player and the headphones you start to feel some vibration on your cheekbones and it becomes quite relaxing when it does it. Other features include water and sweat resistant build, a water resistant pouch to carry them in, and of course the USB connector.

Overall these are comfortable, easy to use, and are just top quality technology that makes it so fun to use and to show everyone you know.

Become Flexible

The chances to travel and bring your music and movies has become something commen, infact you cannot got to a gym, airport, bus stop, or any other public are without someone popping out an iPod or iPhone and starts to view a movie with friends or by themselves.

But the one thing that I always hate is having to hold on the device because eventually I start to stare at it closer out of habbit or just because my is getting tired, well this is where we found yet another accesorie that will make it easier to have your media at close range but we no need to hold on to it.

The Podflexpro works in a simple way, slide the iPod or iPhone into the holster area and bend it to your will. You can possition the device due to the flexible material that can bend and return to its former shape when you make it so.

Pretty simple in design and easy to carry, it will hold it’s place due to the outter material. The only true down side to this device is the fact that only iPhones and iPods will surely fit, my Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant from T-Mobile will not. So I have that limitation to the accesorie, otherwise if you are an iPod or iPhone owner you can totally enjoy it and I can say it will be a great item to add to your media enjoyment.

With the possibility of connecting power and audio jacks while it is being used, it makes it very easy to charge and listen while at the gym and while in transportation.

With a $24.99 price tag it is not a bad deal and if you would like to own one follow the links below, as for those of us who would like to see these for more devices follow the link below as well and let them know. Till next time keep your media close at hand and share it with friends.

Wrap a Spider Around it

Many accesories exist for the iPod, iPhone, and iPad from Apple, and when I mean many I mean too many to count and a lot of them are ment to make it easier to enjoy your devices anywhere. Well Breffo sent me one that I am currently using as I write this review, the SpiderPodium.

And interesting yet simple accesorie, and remenicent to old toys I had in the 80’s. Remember the Gumbi toys or any of the wire framed rubber covered toys that could be posed in many different action poses. And that is what the SpiderPodium basically comes to be, and it may sound like I am making this look like something you should avoid. But far from it, the simple design is what makes a great must have accesorie.

This link will take you to a full gallery of the SpiderPodium.

As you can see on the image to your left, the design is of a spider with 8 limbs and a solid center to hold its shape. I have had this unit in the AC vents of my car to allow me to use my cell phone as a real GPS and when I am parked waiting to kill time I have used it as a media player stand, it helps that you do not have to carry a few different stands or have to worry wether or not your phone or MP3 player will fit because you just have to make it hug around the device.

This is a multi-purpose, universal, gadget grip, holster, dock and display podium. There is really no where you cannot use it, hang it from the head rest of your car, handle bars of your car, or like me use it as a desktop chair for your phone so that you can write and watch your phone for incoming messages. Yeah it’s my desktop throne for my phone and my accesorie on the go, the best part is that I do not have to remove the case from my phone or even if you change your phone or device in general all you will ever have to do is change the shape of the SpiderPodium. And for all you tablet users they do offer a larger unit that will accomadate iPad’s and other tablets in the market. So if your looking for multi-use accesorie then click the link below and get yourself one.

A Different Way To Charge - IDAPT Product Line At CES

Let’s be honest. Charging all our portable devices is a pain in the neck. Needing different cables for each, meaning one AC plug for each one, makes things a pain. Add to that the potential travels with different people, like we did for CES, and charging your device all of a sudden becomes a small quest. We had a change to visit with IDAPT at CES to take a look at their charging solutions for portable devices, and we got a good view of their products.

The flagship for them is their i4 system. This is a three “port” dock that allows you to charge up to three devices at once, plus a powered USB port to add a fourth device. The beauty of the system is their exchangeable tip system. Each port on the dock can take a different tip, which include iPhone dock connectors, micro USB, mini USB, Nintendo DS, etc. This means you can tailor the dock to fit your needs, all while only taking up one AC plug. This would have definitely been of good use for us during this trip, stylish as well.

IDAPT has other dock products, as well as their i1Eco home and car charger. This compact charger has one port for a tip, and a USB port that is powerful enough to charge a Kindle. It is a good looking accessory and with the changeable tips, is a smaller piece to take with you to charge two devices at once. You can catch our video interview with IDAPT below, which shows the i4 and a other products, and we look forward to hopefully testing their products and giving you a more in-depth hands on in the future.

iWave Of Products - Straight from CES

As everyone knows, buying a phone or other piece of electronics is just the beginning. You have to accesorize it to truly make it your own. We saw a bunch of different accessories at CES, but one lineup that is truly varied is from iWave. We got a chance to visit their booth and talk with them about their upcoming products.

First off is their MTV line-up. It has a wide variety of stylish headphones, earbuds, cases, and speakers. They even have some speakers that are made out of paper! Very easy to carry around. The earbuds have good designs for being so small, but the headphones are the ones that show the most detail. Expect to see it in stores soon, and of course you can check our video interview at the end of this article for more shots of the live products.

Next up is the artist series, which strives to have more artistic flair than most headphones and accessories, to better suit your individual personality. These have a look like an artist painted over them, which is what is intended. This line is going to have earbuds, headphones, and cases for iPhone, iPad, as well as some portable speakers. This series should launch in Spring of this year.

Next up we have the Yak Pak line. Yak Pak is an established brand that iWave is working with. This line includes mostly cases for the iPhone and the iPad. They are very stylish, having many different patterns like lined colors, colored skulls, and even mixed ones. This line should be launching this year as well, so keep an eye out for it if you want another stylish way of carrying around and protecting your gear.

iWave also has other collections, like the Grass Roots collection, which is environmentally friendly gear that is made out of wood. The detail and feel of these is fantastic. They also have the Swarovski line, which uses a lot of crystals in all the designs. All in all iWave has a very varied selection of accessories, and should be able to please any consumer with one of their many product lines. I personally love the feel and look of the Grass Roots collection the most. We should hopefully have some of iWave’s gear to review for you guys, for the moment, check out our video interview with iWave down below. They walk us through all their product lines, it’s a treat. Also, it begins with Super Crew dancing in their booth. All win.
